Arlen K. Parham
Dr. Arlen K. Parham is a minister, chaplain, teacher, and lifelong servant of God whose calling has carried him from church sanctuaries to prison corridors, and from community leadership to the front lines of spiritual care. With a heart shaped by compassion and a mission anchored in Scripture, he has dedicated his life to guiding people toward renewal, purpose, and Christ-centered transformation.
Dr. Parham holds a Bachelor’s in General Studies from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, along with both a Master of Divinity in Chaplaincy and a Doctor of Ministry in Chaplaincy from Liberty University. Endorsed by the National Baptist Convention, Inc., he has served faithfully as a Chaplain with both the Arkansas Department of Corrections and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, roles that have given him a deep, firsthand understanding of redemption in some of the hardest places.
His service extends to the Arkansas National Guard as a Chaplain, and he currently serves as the 2nd Vice Moderator for the East Arkansas District in West Memphis. Since 2003, Dr. Parham has shepherded the congregation of the I’m A Part Missionary Baptist Church, where he continues to preach, mentor, and cultivate spiritual growth with humility and steadfast devotion. His community passion also reaches beyond the pulpit through his involvement as a board member of IAP Ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to outreach and empowerment.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Dr. Parham derives his greatest joy from his family and the faith journey they share. His life and ministry reflect a simple but powerful truth, transformation is possible for every person, in every place, when God’s Word is applied with purpose, love, and intentionality.
Through his writing, preaching, and leadership, Dr. Parham continues to inspire individuals and congregations to rise above limitations, embrace spiritual maturity, and walk boldly in the calling God has placed within them.
